The Travel FCT survey explored peoples preferences and intentions around travel, both domestic and international. The survey which was conducted between 22nd May and 12th June 2017, attracted the responses of over 2,300 regional radio listeners nationally.

National Key Insights include:

  • 45% of respondents feel more positive about travel products or services when hearing about it from their favourite radio personalities
  • 9 in 10 respondents are interested in taking a cruise
  • 1 in 3 travel intenders are influenced by radio advertising
  • 91% of respondents are planning to buy travel insurance for leisure travel
  • 34% plan to spend more on travel during 2017 than they have previously
