The Grocery Buyer FCT survey focused on the Supermarket and Grocery Buyer category, with over 2,100 regional radio listeners completing the survey nationally.

National Key Insights include:

  • Just over 40% of respondents are spending $101-250 per shop
  • Woolworths and Coles are preferred supermarket choice for over 70% of respondents
  • Almost half the respondents shop 2 to 3 times a week
  • Mornings are the most popular time to shop
  • Respondents outlined the top 3 consideraitions when choosing a place to shop are pricing, location and parking
  • Respondents stated the top three specialty sections in supermarkets are In-house butcher, wine/alcohol and organic
