Grocery Buyers

The Grocery Buyer FCT survey focused on the supermarket and grocery buyer category, with over 2,100 regional radio listeners completing the survey nationally.

National Key Insights include:

  • Just over 40% of respondents are spending $101-250 per shop.
  • Woolworths and Coles are preferred supermarket choice for over 70% of respondents.
  • Almost half the respondents shop two to three times a week.
  • Mornings are the most popular time to shop.
  • Respondents outlined the top three consideraitions when choosing a place to shop are pricing, location and parking.
  • Respondents stated the top three specialty sections in supermarkets are in-house butchers, wine/alcohol and organic.
